Dance attire should be comfortable, conducive to movement, and not restrictive in any way. Acceptable forms of dance attire include:
- Leotard, tights, & a ballet skirt
- Fitted shirts
- Yoga pants or leggings
- Dance pants
- Male students may wear a t-shirt and sweatpants/ workout pants
The following types of clothing are NOT acceptable attire for dance class:
- Jeans
- Pajama pants
- Oversized t-shirts or sweatshirts
- Long necklaces or other types of distractive jewelry
- Scarves
- Skirts or dresses
If a student requires a helmet or adaptive device for physical activities, please bring it to each and every class.
Students are not required to purchase their own dance shoes at the beginning of the season—we have many pairs of tap shoes at the studio that have been graciously donated to us over the years. Students may borrow these shoes for tap classes and dance in their socks for ballet & jazz classes.
