Welcome to Moving Miracles Dance Studio

In 1998, Moving Miracles, Inc. opened its doors with just four students. Today there are over 150 individuals benefiting from the power and joy of movement and music! Instructors, dancers, staff and volunteers come together during classes for holistic exercise, fitness, socialization, creative expression and an opportunity to enrich their lives through dance. All of this empowers the dancers to explore the magic of the performing arts. In 2008, Moving Miracles formed a collaborative relationship with sasi, formerly known as Suburban Adult Services, Inc. sasi provided administrative support services and supplied resources to assist the program with many of their “behind the scenes” needs. We are proud to announce that in May of 2014, Moving Miracles officially became a division of sasi. This merger has made Moving Miracles stronger than ever and poised for progress!

Testimonials

  • “It’s an amazing organization. You see the students with disabilities, but their abilities outweigh their disabilities. The performances are superb and I look forward to the performance every year. ”

    Emilie Billittier, Parent
  • "Since joining moving Miracles in 2004, many of the symptoms of my Cerebral Palsy have greatly decreased. I have more flexibility, and the stiffness in my joints has substantially subsided.”

    Cammie Stamp, Dancer
  • “Our 8 year old daughter Mary Grace has difficulty staying focused on a task and following directions. But put her in a tutu in front of a wall of mirrors, add a little music and she will perform for you as long as you let her! She has been known to show her physical therapist the latest dance steps. She thrives in the Moving Miracles environment and looks forward to her dance lesson each week! The teachers and volunteers are just amazing!”

    Bridget O’Brien-Wood, Parent
  • “Words cannot express the effect the Moving Miracles program has had on Sarah. She absolutely loves everything about it. ”

    Marie Pitillo, Parent
