Welcome Letter

Announcing a New Partnership

Moving Miracles is excited and pleased to announce the formation of a new community partnership.  As of July, 2008, Moving Miracles has entered into a partnership with Suburban Adult Services, Inc. (SASi) under the direction of Thomas Becker.  SASi is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing physically and mentally challenged individuals with programs and services that will enable them to lead meaningful lives & be as independent as possible.

Established in 1975, SASi has grown from a small, community-based agency to one of the largest human service providers in Western New York.  Their programs include employment training and placement opportunities, clinical services, habilitation, and residential programs.  We are so excited to welcome Mr. Becker and his staff to the Moving Miracles family.

Class Preparation
Each student should arrive ten minutes before their class begins. Dance/movement attire should be comfortable and conductive to movement, loose fitting and not restrictive in any way. Please, no belts, long necklaces, scarves, jeans or skirts. If a student requires a helmet for physical activities please bring it to each and every class. Please make sure that each child and adult has used the restroom facilities before class. No gum, food or drinks are allowed in the dance studio.

Class Policy
Classes will meet once a week for 45 minutes or one hour, depending on class need. Punctuality is important! Tardiness is extremely distracting and interrupts the group process. There will be a fifteen minute break between classes to escort students to and from the dance studio. It is MANDATORY that all parents and staff stay in the studio or waiting room for the duration of the session.

It is important that all students attend class each and every week to meet individual and group goals. If a student is injured or recovering from surgery they are encouraged to attend as the learning process continues to flourish on so many levels through observation alone. If a student is ill and will not be able to participate in class, please notify the studio as early as possible at the current number: 656-1321
